How much do we charge?

Oxford Editing charges different rates depending on the client.

Our standard rate for charities, small businesses, and individuals is £22 per hour for consultancy, copy editing, repurposing, and rewriting, and £17 per hour for proof reading.

Our standard rate for larger businesses is £28 per hour for consultancy, copy editing, repurposing, and rewriting, and £22 per hour for proof reading.

Our special rate for students is £18 per hour for copy editing, repurposing, and rewriting, and £15 per hour for proof reading.

One hour = approximately 2000 words, although for rewriting work this could be as little as 1000 words depending upon the quality of the original text.
